Luke & Lucas turned up at my place within 1 hour of the booking. I had a major problem - the garage door broke with the family car & motor bike in the garage. The door could not be opened. Contacted Hillsdale Garage Door Repairs t/a The Garage Guys on 13/08/24, BUT unknown to me, they sub-contracted my job to an unknown operator for replacing two re-coil springs (not the correct model), two wire rope and one roller. Less than one month, my sectional garage door was not working properly/smoothly and jamming on occasions. Contacting this principal on 3 consecutive days (10, 11 & 12 August) to send their experienced technician to rectify the work was ignored. From my experience, I would not recommend Hillsdale Garage Door Repairs to anyone

Exceptional product but what has prompted me to write this review is the exceptional service.Having complained about paying more than I had anticipated for a top of the line B&D roller door, I received a response within 25 minutes at night - the owner is clearly proud of the business’ good reputation and waiting until working hours the following day was not an option.My complaints were addressed with dignity and honesty and restitution was offered - despite my learning that much of the miscommunication had actually been my fault.The customer service from beginning to end has been terrific, as were the technicians who installed the product.Honesty is important to me and this review is well deserved.
